THE CHALLENGE
“Provide a solution for the automated transshipment of goods in the setting of 2035+” was the challenge given to us in the beginning.
We had to use the advantage of having both mechanical engineering and industrial design background for coming up with a creative yet realistic solution.





The target group was chosen as most team members were in Seoul, and we thought one of the strengths we can use from Seoul is strong public transportation.
We used this insight to further research what kind of shipping problems can be fixed in this area.
Final design was called VOV as it is a AGV service that clamps up packages in the middle, and delivers it, using public transportation.
VOV solves problems of day-to-day delivery using public transportation which is a sustainable solution for all users in populated areas.
Hardwares and systems were designed by the engineering students from both Korea and Mexico.
The specifications were mostly considered with containing light packages but having a long enough drive for public transportation.

DESK RESEARCH IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES
With the strength of having different team members from different background, we conducted desk research in different backgrounds.
The main focus was problems we face everyday as a normal person with shippment.

Because of the global background, it was hard to communicate with the team members. We used virtual whiteboards to jot down ideas and
talk about the problems we want to focus on. This helped us generate as many ideas as possible.
With concepts and ideas flowing, we came closer to fewer ideas that the whole team agreed more on, and with these ideas used SWOT analysis to
figure out what is more important and what ideas are more suitable for further consideration.
